Project SAFE is Palm Beach County’s largest Permanent Supportive Housing program for families. The program provides 32 units of affordable housing and intensive case management to homeless families in which the head of household lives with a disability.
Project SAFE aims to help families stabilize, live independently, improve their well-being, and pursue self-sufficiency.
Project SAFE collaborates with partner agencies from the community to provide families with more opportunities. Each resident of Project SAFE receives support from an on-site case manager. Families receive financial literacy training, educational opportunities, mental health services, life-skills training, and affordable childcare.
Partner agencies include Dress for Success, Palm Beach State College, Genesis Community Health, The Lord’s Place, Community Partners, and other members of Palm Beach County’s Housing and Homeless Alliance.
